Do you think that the 1968-70 B-Body (part number 6002549S) belt trim clips that Tom Race sells at R/T Specialties could be used as is, or modified to work on the 1966-1967 Coronets? Looks like he sells sets of 12 for $24.00 plus shipping.

I did a comparison of some clips I removed from under the hood (which held that rubber piece/insulation) and the window molding. they are extremely similar, the difference is simply the size of the clip. I am not sure what the size of the clip you posted, but they look like the same hood clips I was comparing the originals to.

There must be another car that these smaller clips were used on. Its too simple of a design and universal part for them to stop using them in later years.
Richard, it's not the size that is the problem, it's the angle.

Oh-boy, Mike's gonna run with this.RoflRofl

Drove my car to a few cars shows over the summer. Looking to get the headliner replaced soon, probably in the next few weeks. So Im excited about that. Not so excited that the weather is changing so I cant drive as much BUT I was able to obtain some sweet metal at Carlisle so at some point when I can tear myself out of my car to get it done ... that will be next! Smile
