Got the hood scoop mldgs back from rechrome today. Blacked out the fronts and installed. The chromer was able to exactly duplicate the brushed look that is on the top surface of the moldings. Very happy with them!!!

car had wheel well undercoating but don't recall seeing anything for a hood pad? I know they usually came together. My dad bought one for the car. Not crazy about putting it on though. Cover the nice paint and it may rub on the air cleaner.

The molded ones aren't too bad. Yea, usallly they did go together, undercaoting and hood pad.
He has a molded one made by REM if I remember right. Have to try it at least.
