You ever priced a new Competition Plus Shifter? They aint cheap...
But better than buying a used bench seat handle and rebuild kit for the 2 I got...
The fuel system parts are the final things I need to replace the crappy one that is in there now.
I bought one of the retro sun tachs at the Mopar Nats before I left from Mancini racing. Got it home and didn't really care for the chrome plated cup it sat in so I blasted it and decide to try to paint it like the old dixco Don Garlits tach I have. I got it all painted and back together and finished the install this week. Just thought I would post a couple pictures of it. I think it turned out pretty good.

You nailed it Matt,
If I saw that in a car I would have to shake that mans hand.
Nice going Matt. How's the car doing.
Thanks guys for all the compliments! I really appreciate it.
The car is doing better. I have been working on getting all the small bugs out of it. I installed a trans go 2 shift kit and changed the govner to a 5200 RPM unit from A&A trans. Also replaced the selecter shaft seal, but it seams to be leaking still. These parts store parts just seem to be a pain in the butt these days. I think I will try to replace that seal again to curb at least some of the leaks.LOL
I have also been having some issues with my temp gauge reading higher than it should. I have installed a mechanical gauge and it stays at 180 so I think that is behind me. I hope to make some shows this coming month with it before winter sets in. When I do I will post up some pictures. If anyone might have the OEM part number for that selector shaft seal let me know please.
Thanks, Matt
Matt, you know there are two seals to the selector shaft? The smaller one is harder to get. They are available from the dealer. If you need the part numbers, let me know.

Why not post them in the parts number section so others that may need it can reference it?
National#8609 is the bigger seal. I have that one memorized since I do so many.
