Haven't touched Max
7317]But Lauri sure has been using Morgan everyday and hauling rock from a friends house who is moving and gave her the rock, She is happy as one of us finding a NOS part at swap meet for a smokin deal.
I worked on aligning the trunk lid and the latch so I don't have to slam the lid to close it. It still needs some tweaking but it closes good now. Before and After pics.
Monday & Tuesday I replaced the VC gaskets on the convertible. Drove it to work today and tonight I took out the distributor and installed the high performance " light" advance springs.
Great shot
I will drive my cars more for you
The sharp eye catches the slight sheen difference between the frame and the tracks/risers. Springs were dipped in paint and came out just the way they were originally. Yellow very weak and see-thru.

OMG! NOS seat frames, looking good!
Tore down the original 383 from my daughter's car. It will be going back in the car this winter.
The motor was supposed to be a low mile rebuild. HHHMMMNNNN..............
The crank was something else. Looks like all (maybe not all) the journals were welded and the crank was full of mallory metal. For a stock 383 crank???? Why????
Whopping 8.2:1 compression. Silvolite flat top pistons 0.098 inches in the hole. Is that what we consider quench? LOL! Excessive clearance on the pistons. Pistons look new. Why would you buy new pistons and not bore it in order to have a good cylinder wall? Evidence of blowby.
