Changed leaf spring bushings.
You got your moneys worth out of those Mark
A no show appointment and wrong parts on another car left us with some time and a rack available, so Lauri and I decided to give Morgan some love. It has had this pop ping ping noise in the front end since we bought and narrowed it down to the strut rod area, so at 12:00 we pulled it in and pulled it apart. And found left srut rod bent causing bushing to wear crooked so the metal part was trying to dig into k-member, YAY we found it. Lower ball joints and shocks were worn so new KYBs and Moog lowers and strut bushings installed after straightening the rod in the press.

On the ground to torque everything by 3:00 not bad, sure nice having a helping hand from Lauri there.

And no more pop ping ping Big Grin
You sir, are a VERY lucky man indeed! As with Max and Tank, Morgan is also a VERY cool ride!

I was so looking forward to driving Max to work today, been parked since I drove home with brand spanking new 440 sitting waiting for me. It fired right up and sounds killer, and still has the paint burning smell along with some 110 octain fuel I treated it to. I love the smell of race fuel first thing in the morning, feel like I am back at the race track with just the missing sound of all the generators going HaHa

Off to work now

Thanks Smile
Your car looks great! If I ever get to California ( pipe dream) a pilgrimage to your shop is on the top of the list.
Great to hear Max is back Andy.
Looks Great! I see the spinner center caps are still in place... I love that look. Glad to hear it's back in action
