Anyone doing ´67 chrome trunk panel reproductions?
Posted by: Irores - 03-23-19, 09:52 PM - Forum: Coronet Restoration/Paint Shop/Body Shop - Replies (6)

I have been searching the web for reproduced chrome trunk panel for my´67 500. Can only find the ones for the ´67 R/T at Laysons for about $1300.
Since the taillight chrome bezels are being reproduced, one would think there is a market for the bezel that runs the width of the trunk too.

Please let me know if you know of a company that produces this panel.

Regards

Ragnar in Iceland

Disc brake question for my 67
Posted by: Piper - 03-21-19, 05:00 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (36)

I am thinking about getting a simple disc brake kit like this one I linked to below, I will be using a small bore Wilwood master (basically because I have it).

Should I use a stock style proportioning valve? or do I need one that has the adjustable knob for the rear brakes?

HI. I have the Rear Finish panel for the wide tail lights, like the R/T.
Question - Does anyone know what the (5) fastners/clips look like that secure the bottom of the trim panel look like?
Thanks, greatly appreciated. Pete

Dash mounted reverse lamp mounting location?
Posted by: hunt2elk - 01-23-19, 09:54 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

Hi guys. Been a member for a couple of years but never posted because I didn't have a Coronet. That changed this past fall when I found a 69 Super Bee Worthy of a restoration. Looked for a long time for a solid starting point. Only issue was that it was an automatic car and I wanted a 4-speed. Got the conversion all done except am seeing some variations on where the dash mounted reverse lamp is located. The car is also a N96 Ramcharger. I have seen pics with the carb air cable directly under the reverse light and also pics of the light mounted farther to the left. So what I am looking for is the measurement of the center of the reverse light from the left side of the ashtray opening on an original 4-speed 69 Super Bee or R/T. Thanks in advance.

Gotta change out my oil pump gasket, damn it!!! Ok so I have a vert, am I gonna have to lift motor up or will pump just come out without taking motor mounts out and lifting motor up??? I will put a new pump back in, duh, my buddy said run a melling,he has a 440 race car. Any suggestions on this lovely endeavor ?? I have a car lift so that will help, looks like 4- 9/16 bolts and there is a 3/8 bolt in the middle top of pump, will that 3/8 have to come out also or is part of pump?? Man there is no wiggle room for nothing,I can get to all 4 bolts and the 3/8,but man it is tight. I have the car for 7 yrs and this is the first hiccup I have had, so I really can't be bitchin. The previous owner said the motor was built in Chicago and it has a Norm's sport club sticker on windshield, but no documentation if it was built at Norms. Thanks guys for viewing my problem, ToddBeer
