Summit brand shorty/block hugger, ceramic coated, had them on my desoto street rod $150. Also have complete 2.25” exhaust system with x-pipe and about a half dozen different mufflers to choose fromI custom made this for the desoto, most likely wouldn’t take much alteration to fit any car. $100 Can ship headers.   318’s for sale
Posted by: 65rbdodge - 08-16-23, 02:26 PM - Forum: Parts For Sale - No Replies

1991 318 magnum removed from 91 Dakota 91,000 miles. I pulled a few main and rod caps and the bearings looked new as well as the cylinder walls, no ridge. Missing intake and water pump will need gasket set $150

1985 318 89,000 miles removed from Chrysler 5th ave. Hydraulic roller motor, 302 heads, again everything looked good inside, will need gasket set. Missing intake, I have a few 4bbl intake manifolds for extra $$ $150

1971 318 unknown mileage, looked good inside. Motor is clean and painted Chrysler blue. New 340 cam(.429/.444) timing chain, oil pump. #302 heads with comp #901 springs. Performer intake. Never fired with the new parts. Has car oil pan but I have a truck pan if you need that. I put this together as a spare for one of my cars, now I don’t need it. $500

Located in northeast PA about 20 minutes east of Scranton

Well Almost Ready to Go Down the Track!
Posted by: markz - 08-10-23, 08:09 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (22)

Almost got the race car back together. You might remember that the brand new converter/tranny gave up the ghost in October which prevented me from running the new combo. Never found anything with the transmission or converter so I have my fingers crossed. Will know on Saturday - going to the Nats tomorrow.

Got the mufflers and new driveshaft loop done. That was a big job. Took about 25 hours to make and install the new driveshaft loop!

  Lower Ball Joint Replacement
Posted by: Avenger - 08-10-23, 01:57 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (12)

Hey guys! Gonna do a front end rebuild on my car this fall. Tie rods, lower ball joints, upper control arms, and a manual steering box with adapter. Just a quick question regarding the lower ball joints. What is the "good" protocol to do them. Mainly what to do with the lower control arm since its hooked to the torsion bar. I have heard to just support the LCA with a jack before removing the balljoint from the spindle. Is that all thats required?
Thanks!

Need part number for your brakes?

https://www.brakepartsinc.com/raybestos/...earch.html go to application section on left, enter in year, make, model. Even lists who is distributor in your area, and also cross references at top of screen.

Some parts store websites may not list as having it, but if you put in the Raybestos number, it'll come back with one. (ie Napa)

  8.75 rear info

Good info about the 8.75 rear, not just for B-bodies. Most info is valid, but some is not (ie width of rears is different after 68 but it says same from 62-70)
