  My turn for help
Posted by: 67440Dodge - 08-30-22, 09:44 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (10)

383.. Eddy heads, TM6 intake... has an oil leak on right side back. Runs down side of block, on to the engine bolt tab, then into clutch cover and out drain hole. And gets sprayed all over right side exh pipe. Not coming from valve covers, it's clean as a virgin's snatch under there. Not coming from valley pan or sending unit as both come away with clean. Just ran it tonite with front jacked up for about 15 minutes at 2500 RPM, not a drop on the floor. Dropped it to ground, let it run again and backed it out and it was like the Exxon Valdez dumped Brad Penn on the floor. It actually looked like it was coming from lower head bolts at first, but there's no oil drainage that way..

Any ideas/suggestions?

  1969 Plymouth Road Runner Coupe
Posted by: thebankerstoy - 08-26-22, 03:38 PM - Forum: WIW eBay Craiglist Kijiji - Replies (15)

This one has all of the options that everybody wants on a '69 Road Runner. I'm a bit surprised that it's been looked at by Mr Govier as it isn't a Hemi car and it isn't factory stock. Still a good looking car and it will go for a lot more than it's current bid of $7,777.00.

  Cornering lights?
Posted by: Kingspagetti - 08-01-22, 11:57 AM - Forum: Tech Q&A - No Replies

Can someone tell me what the 3rd tail in my steering column is supposed to do? I have a 70 Coronet 500. I replaced the harness under the dash. Neither the new or the old harness has a place to plug it in. I don’t remember it being unused. It’s the 3 prong plug with the violet, tan & green wires. It comes out of the turn signal switch. I found a wiring diagram online that shows it is for cornering lights. Is this possibly an option I don’t have? What are cornering lights?

  Sail panels
Posted by: Kingspagetti - 07-01-22, 10:57 AM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (2)

I have a 70 Coronet 500. I am (still) working on my interior. My sail panels should probably be replaced. However, they are covered with a solid material. All of the replacement parts I’m seeing are perforated. Are the solid ones correct? Does anyone make the correct replacement part?
