383.. Eddy heads, TM6 intake... has an oil leak on right side back. Runs down side of block, on to the engine bolt tab, then into clutch cover and out drain hole. And gets sprayed all over right side exh pipe. Not coming from valve covers, it's clean as a virgin's snatch under there. Not coming from valley pan or sending unit as both come away with clean. Just ran it tonite with front jacked up for about 15 minutes at 2500 RPM, not a drop on the floor. Dropped it to ground, let it run again and backed it out and it was like the Exxon Valdez dumped Brad Penn on the floor. It actually looked like it was coming from lower head bolts at first, but there's no oil drainage that way..
Any ideas/suggestions?

Try putting some baby powder on that area of the block and run it, itâs easily cleaned up afterwards. See where the powder has been washed away. I hate oil leaks, fought one on my 408, turned out to be the valve cover, really need to be cranked down, it didnât feel right doing it.

Thanks Jeff I'll give it a shot tomorrow.. I know there is dye you can add to oil to find the source, but no black light here... I got rid of those with my water pipes

Learned couple things:
1) Baby powder is friggin expensive! $7 for a bottle of it.. wiped everything down and made back of engine and under covers look like a bag of coke got dropped from a plane heading to Miami...
2) Stinks like hell when it burns off the manifolds and pipes.
3) Ran it for about 15 minutes at 2500rpm, Oil on floor so jacked it up.. both sides of block were free of any oil. However, I did get hit in the face with some when under, pointed flashlight up at rear main, and it's a dripping. Never showed before when it was parked for awhile and looked at it, and not when I had it jacked up with motor running. Odd how back of block, flywheel/pressure plate is dry but shield had oil and it was spraying it on the side of motor and exhaust pipe..
Let the fun begin...

I’m glad you found the leak! I had a rear main leak a while back on a BB. It turned out that the oil pan bolts I bought from Mopar performance were just slightly to long and when I tightened them they broke through the aluminum on the seal retainer. I found this issue after the second time I took it a part. Good times!

I thought it was oil gauge fitting initally leaking and going into the hole on the bellhousing and the flywheel was spraying it around... but it was just landing on the shield and the wind from the flywheel was spraying it everywhere..
