Well Almost Ready to Go Down the Track!
#1
Almost got the race car back together. You might remember that the brand new converter/tranny gave up the ghost in October which prevented me from running the new combo. Never found anything with the transmission or converter so I have my fingers crossed. Will know on Saturday - going to the Nats tomorrow.

Got the mufflers and new driveshaft loop done. That was a big job. Took about 25 hours to make and install the new driveshaft loop!

My mufflers cleared the old loop, but it was blocking the outlet. You can see it in the picture.

Gotcha... mine has little more than 1" clearance between mufflers and driveshaft cause of the GV unit.

Wonder if tech would allow a bar welded across muff's to be considered a loop? (I know.. NOT)

I didn't know you had a GV unit! Can you post pictures? I need to get the GTX done someday and it has one.
