  RSS Feeds
Posted by: 67440Dodge - 10-06-23, 03:45 PM - Forum: Tips for using new forum - No Replies

To enable RSS feeds you'll need a RSS reader.  You can download these to your smart phone or various browser plugins or stand alone apps.

Then, go to the bottom right of the screen, and click on the RSS feed logo

Select the forums you want to monitor, or Syndicate All Forums if you want to get the feed from the entire forum.  Leave RSS 2.0 as the default unless your reader requires otherwise, and select the number of threads you want to monitor.  (the default should be fine.  Then click on Generate Syndication URL.

At the top of the screen, you'll see your RSS URL.  Just copy and paste that into your RSS feeder and you should see updates to the forum shortly after they are posted.

  Drip rail "fish hooks"
Posted by: jt4406 - 10-04-23, 09:54 AM - Forum: Wanted Cars or Parts - No Replies

Looking for the drip rail ends for a 69 Super Bee (Coronet), the little fishhook shaped pieces at the
back end of the drip rail chrome strips. The shorter ones in this pic (longer ones are from a Plymouth B body, RR, etc)

  FireFox bug
Posted by: 67440Dodge - 10-03-23, 09:12 PM - Forum: Bugs in new forum - No Replies

People who use Firefox on PC may notice the "Latest Threads" on right side is blank.   To make it populate, just click on the Coronet in the upper left and the screen will refresh and it will appear.   I've got it in as a bug to the developer, we'll see if he comes back with a fix.   It doesn't happen on Chrome or Edge, and don't have a Mac to check with.

  On the road sightings
Posted by: 67r/t4speeder - 10-02-23, 07:40 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

I am in the middle of a trip to visit family.
I absolutely love looking at all the old towns in the desert.
Ridgecrest California, a line of AMCs mostly AMXs and a sweet wagon.
In Bishop I saw a 67 Coronet 500 on a trailer going the other way. (I about went in the ditch)
East of Bishop in tiny little town there is a private yard with only 66 67 B.bodies Inoticed the roof lines from a distance . Stopping there on my way back to check it out.( didn't bring a bullet proof vest so wish me luck)
Cars are not rare in the desert still, imagine down all the back roads, but you will get shot at there I imagine. I would protect my stash also.
Best part was the visit .

What do you do to prepare your car if you don't drive it when snow/salt flies?

I used to keep electric heater in garage just to keep temp at 40F cause I ran straight distilled water.   I finally caved and did a 50/50 mix of A/F and DI water.  So far so good.

Otherwise, just disconnect battery..(not those cheap ones buy at swap meets, complete removal neg cable)

For those that live in the southern states that don't gotta worry about blocks freezing?
