Now where's the cute little rear end Rich is drooling over?

Blocking access to a fire extinguisher... tsk,tsk
I wouldn't look too closely at the gauge either.. Rofl

Seems when they fall while inside the car, it makes it look like something John DeLorean was working on Smile
I did some more sanding and found a nice area of the original bronze so I played around with seeing how well it would come back. Hard to believe someone would choose to paint blue over this color. I love blue too but.......

Only found one high spot in it8103]a nice break from the fenders . I would do the whole car like this if it were the same but its not.

This is my daily driver so I am doing all I can before removing glass and other parts.
That Bronze is a neat color!
8166]

Stripped rest of the blue off and ground down welds from trim holes being filled on this panel, one more area complete tell I remove rear glass to clean up rest of vinyl top remnants under trim clips.

This body work stuff is very hard to do correctly, I have a new respect for the pro's that do this all the time. It takes many hours and I can walk away from it for a couple days then finish and people that do this for a living do not have that luxury most times.
The time, money and effort that it takes to bring an old car back to a factory fresh appearance is exactly why many body shops have stopped doing this type of work and instead concentrate on collision repair work on newer cars referred to them by insurance companies.

Jr is going to look FANTASTIC wearing that beautiful Turbine Bronze color Andy! Cool

I can't wait to see this baby when she's finished!
8222]Back on track with doing a little each day after work, I seem to let it go if I don't. Last night was two door dings, where it took more time to take the interior apart to get dolly in the right spot than to fix the dents. Now finish stripping that grey section down to bronze, and if no more surprises 1/4 is done.
