  Classic Industries? Any experience?
Posted by: OldSkool - 12-12-15, 07:19 PM - Forum: General Discussion - No Replies

Hi Folks,

Anyone used Classic? Good or bad? Not buying anything big, just my Christmas present to myself - floor mats. Also, any thoughts on the 2 options below? I go back and forth. They don't have any for my '65 in particular but I think either of these would work better than the clear plastic (ugly) cheapo's that are in there now. Or, if you have other places that you like, lmk.

Anybody live near Minneapolis? Found Door, Qtr glass for our car there and would like it inspected.
Posted by: 67RTBlue - 12-10-15, 06:35 PM - Forum: General Discussion - No Replies

Found right side glass for our car at a place called French Lake Auto. Just nervous to buy it sight unseen. If anyone lived nearby and was bored on a Saturday it would be nice to have eyes on the parts. I realize they are going to be 48 year old pieces but want something nice if possible. His price isn't bad but still be a waste if the glass is scratched.

  1967 500 Hood latch?
Posted by: Smoke4570 - 12-08-15, 12:48 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (13)

Hello,

Got a couple questions about the hood latch on my 67 500. Were these cars offered with hood release cables? Anyone have pics of how the latch is supposed to be set up? Mine has the release lever on top of the grille, but it isn't connected to anything. The previous owner hooked a metal wire to the latch release and put a heavy washer on it, so I've gotta reach up behind the bumper and pull the wire just the right way to release the hood. Just trying to figure out how it's supposed to be.

TIA,
Smoke

Just picked up a 66 Coronet 440 with the 383, 60,000 original miles, 1 owner. Needs a good bit of work, but got it for a steal. Will post pictures later.
