  What is this for?
Posted by: markz - 02-14-16, 02:37 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (7)

What is this for? Looks like a drain. Its a 67 Coronet 500. There is a similar one next to the blower motor and I know that there is a rubber hose that goes from the blower motor to that fitting.

This is an AC car.

  original shock absorbers color?
Posted by: Irores - 02-14-16, 10:19 AM - Forum: Coronet Restoration/Paint Shop/Body Shop - Replies (3)

Hi folks. Last August I bought a 1967 Coronet 500 driven 116.000 miles. In many ways this car belongs to the survivor category. One thing I would love to know is what color the shock absorbers were originally. The front shocks on mine are dark green.
If any of you know the color and brand of the original shocks for these vehicles, I´d appreciate knowing your wisdom.

Thanks

Ragnar in Iceland

  Original power steering hose pics

I believe this to be an original.  It has the logo on one of the fittings.  Posted for reference and if anyone wants to decipher the numbers! Wish this one could be restored but how could you undo the couplings? One was taped up probably leaking. I'm trying to get a new one and they are hard to find. Want a quality brand. Seen a few on Ebay. I have a TRW pump.

  Quick story about HEMI'S
Posted by: Warhawkfight34 - 02-08-16, 03:17 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (18)

I went to visit my car this weekend and found that sometime last year at a car show someone had left a biz card in my car and it must had slipped down in the crack of the seat. I found it Saturday. On the card it said I love your car and I have a few HEMI'S in my cellar if you are interested. TO make a long story short I call the guy and found out that he has an original drive train from a 1967 hemi GTX, engine tranny. He also has a 1964 426 super stock hemi with the original cross ram and carbs still on it! He also has a 1966 426 Hemi.
He wants to sell them all and is going to give me a price for them individually and as a package. Pretty friggin cool! I want that super stock Hemi!!!

  Dimension of bench seat
Posted by: ChrysV8 - 02-04-16, 06:40 PM - Forum: General Discussion - No Replies

Could please anyone measure the bench of his 69 Coronet for me?
I want to convert a 71 Satellite front bench in my 69 coronet and want to put the correct cover over the 71 bench. Because of the rarity of 69 benches I wanna try to install a 71 which I have in my 69. As I figured out the dimensions should be at almost the same instead of the location of the release-button.

Second question is: are the convertible bench the same dimensions as the standard split bench?

Thanks for every reply!

Best wishes
Christian
