  WIW, 68 440HP block?
Posted by: MarkMopar - 07-24-17, 11:23 PM - Forum: WIW eBay Craiglist Kijiji - Replies (4)

Standard bore, dated 9-28-67, stamped D440 10-27HP. Correct for an early to mid-68 car.
Any ideas on value?

Check your nuts...and bolts and screws!
Posted by: 67RTBlue - 07-19-17, 01:48 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (6)

Been noticing a knock in the front end last couple outings when turning, braking. Had my Dad wobble the steering wheel while I eyeballed under the hood. Well holy cow! The steering box is moving! The bolts came loose. I torqued-to-spec most of the important things on the engine/drive-line during assembly. Tonight I decided to check everything else and I was shocked how many fasteners were loose. Did everything on front and rear suspension. I guess the old coarser threads are more prone to loosening? A couple hours with the wrenches and the car drove/felt better. A couple squeaks and rattles went away as well! Def worth checking guys! Don't forget the lug nuts too!

1966 Coronet 500 rear leaf springs

Does anybody have experience in installing rear leaf springs? What do I connect first . . . . front, middle, rear?

Hi folks, I took my Coronet for a little spin this weekend. The gravel road you see is actually crushed red lava; a feature on some country roads here in Iceland.

Have a nice summer

  GTX tailpies on a Coronet
Posted by: 67r/t4speeder - 07-11-17, 04:12 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (12)

Has anyone seen or done this? I like the way the chrome tips angle out the back.

I need to least make my pipes come out to the bumper at least, I have the stock look turn down way short of bumper and it gets pretty stinky in the car if all the windows aren't down.

  B body bucket seats
Posted by: Xpsyclonex2002 - 07-06-17, 10:36 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (5)

Are all bucket seats for the B bodies the same for 1966 and 1967? I ended up with a pair of bucket seats from a satellite and am concerned that the metal covers on the back of the bucket seats may be different from B body to be body. I'm about to order my seat covers from legendary and want to make sure that there's not going to be an issue with the seat backs not being correct for a Coronet.

  4 Link Upgrade
Posted by: Hibbing_Coronet_500 - 07-04-17, 04:45 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (7)

Considering a 4 link upgrade using "Street Lynx" product.
At $1900.00 bucks I find it a little high priced. Youtube videos show a easy install with little welding.

Anyone gone this way?
My Smiles per Hour suck and I hate driving this thing.

Just say hello from NH. Always loved Coronets. Dad had 67 R/T when I was young and
since have always wanted one. Found a beautiful car last year and bought it. Love the car.
