Posted by: Warhawkfight34 - 05-11-15, 08:09 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (2)

For anyone in the Mass or NH area, or New England. A friend of mine is having a MOPAR only BBQ and car show at his house. He has a TON of food and you can bring whatever you want to eat also.
It is BYOB. I will post the exact Address tomorrow. It is either on Sat the 23rd or Sunday the 24th of May.. Hopefully a bunch of you guys will come. I will post more either today or tomorrow. His name is
Rick Griffith. He has a nice white 1969 Roadrunner, some of you might know him. He's a wicked nice guy. I think last year he had about 20 to 30 cars show up.

  My search for a Coronet
Posted by: ETD66SS - 05-07-15, 11:47 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

Hello, Chevelle guy here Smile Reference: http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum...e-to-start

I am beginning my search for my first Mopar. I want it to be an unrestored/unmolested (or a 1980's/90's restoration) 1969 Coronet 440 R/T WS23 4 speed car. Since it could be a longshot finding that exact car, I am expanding my search to 1968-1970 Coronets.

I would like feedback on this listing if you don't mind: http://chambana.craigslist.org/cto/4996270723.html

What would be the main concerns with this car? My first concern is that in the pictures, it's not all there. I don't like to buy a non-driving car with a box of parts on the side. Any red flags?

  rally dash medallion
Posted by: mike1968rt - 05-07-15, 09:57 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

The 68 rally dash, which is the only one with a ribbed surface, has a rectangular hole above and in between the speedo and clock. There are 3 different medallions - an RT, fratzhog, and "target", made to plug into this hole. The 69 and 70 pebble finish dashes have a round hole there. I see medallions sold for the 68, but not the others. Were medallions made for 69 and 70 dashes, or was the round hole just left uncovered? The 68 medallions won't fit on the other 2 because the 4 hooks on the back that hold it in the rectangular hole won't fit in the round hole.

Good morning,

New member here. Was wondering if anyone could provide guidance, thoughts, and opinions on the attached? Interested in a '65 Coronet. I appreciate the comments in advance.

  It's Spring!
Posted by: OldSkool - 05-02-15, 08:58 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (6)

Hello Coronet-Friends!

Just pulled the '65 out of winter storage. Popped battery in and she started right up. Barn storage - some small critter got into the headliner and made a number of small holes so I'll be working on that this summer. But, other than that, all looks good. Hope you all had a safe car winter and are pulling 'em out and starting 'em up!

  318 carb rebuild
Posted by: tuckerboynton - 05-02-15, 02:52 AM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (3)

Howdy guys. I have a 71 coronet with the 318 2bbl. My carb is starting to go bad and i need a rebuild. My ol buddy at napa told me there was many carbs and that i would need the number from the carb and it would probably be a pain to find it. My question is, can i look up my vin or anything to find the carb that they used? thanks a lot guys
