WANTED 1965 Coronet 440 red dash pad
Posted by: 4404spd - 07-15-15, 11:30 AM - Forum: Tech Q&A - No Replies

Looking for a nice dash pad for my 65 440 convertible with factory A/C . Mine has the holes on the top dash frame, but I never had the pad. I was thinking that only the 500 model came with the dash pads ??

also looking for a pair of convertible rear ashtrays reasonably priced. To replace the ones that were stolen from the Spruce Grove show and shine.

IF anyone has either for sale ,please pm, or email me at holleywood440@yahoo.ca

Thanks Andy

  Flasher
Posted by: Avenger - 07-15-15, 11:20 AM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (5)

quick question,
What type of flasher should our cars have in them or my 1966 coronet 440 have in it.. The turn signals have always flashed very fast and I wanna fix it so it's a little slower and not so annoyingly fast and can be seen better!

  Air Cleaner Question
Posted by: ksalley - 07-13-15, 10:56 PM - Forum: New Members - Replies (4)

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if a 440 4 speed had a different air cleaner than a 440 automatic in a 1967 R/T. It is my understanding that a 4 speed came without the dual snorkel and the auto came with a dual snorkel (silenced vs un-silenced). I have a 4 speed and am trying to get to the bottom of this.

Thank you all for your help

Kevin

Windshield Washer Pump Has No Pressure
Posted by: richardmay2 - 07-13-15, 09:01 PM - Forum: The Muscle Car Years 1965-1970 - Replies (4)

6240]I’m having an issue with the windshield washer system on my ’66 Coronet. I’m not getting a satisfactory stream of water out of the newly replaced nozzles, pumped by the newly replaced pump through new lines. In short, I’ve pretty much replaced the entire system and it still doesn’t do much better at passing water than I do if I’ve forgotten to take my pill. Sometimes the stream doesn’t even hit the windshield. The power is supplied through a single wire which then goes on to connect the horn, which does work. Anybody have any thoughts or ideas as to how to fix this?
