Well it finally happened. 2,500 miles after my full restoration an accident!
No fault but my own and no one was hurt. TO make it kind of quick here it is.
I was working on the Coronet, the hood off and the car not running. I finished
up what I was doing so I turned the ignition to the on position by reaching through
the drivers window and then put the car in "park". I then went to the side of the drivers
fender (outside of the car) and took a screw driver to jump it off the started relay
and once I did it started and drove in reverse right through the block wall in my garage!
FUUUUUUCKK!! Status: WIFE FREAKED THE F OUT, SHE THOUGHT I WAS DEAD! The wall is gone and the Coronet only has two SMALL scratches that are very easy to fix!
I was totally shocked. But in the end thanks God no one was hurt!!! So When you think
you put it in Park double check that it didn't actually go in reverse!!!!

Well I just and finally ordered some aluminum hood stand offs for my car. I bought them from
Dales custom cuda shop. Hopefully I will have them this week and will give a full review.

Hello from Venezuela. I need one pair front grilles for mi project 70' Dodge Coronet

Putting that back in and wondering if there was a spring that pulls the pedal back to the retracted/park position or do the springs in the drums do that? PICS would be great!! I don't remember removing a spring in it but that was a while ago!
'67 Coronet

I am just finishing up my 67 Coronet RT convertible. It runs but not well yet. It is a stroked 493 cu in with 1100 Holley, Eddie heads and intake with TTI headers. I have tried a few mufflers but it is still too loud and there doesn't seem to be room for resonators. Any suggestions?

OK, I checked the Service manual, nothing mentioned about how to get these door lock knobs off.

I have new ones and they do not seem to have a thread, so does anyone know the procedure?

Also not many 67 RT convertibles ......looks to be a clean procect.
