500,000 miles on `66 Coronet wagon Morgan !!!
Posted by: 67r/t4speeder - 06-15-15, 10:55 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (18)

Yesterday on the way back from the Mopar show Morgan turned over 500,000 miles!!!! and documented from when new.

It still runs so good, we had her loaded down with two friends and whole front suspension for my Dart project and all the other parts we bought there.

We had tons of thumbs up in the show, people were so happy to see a wagon again since they just don't see them anymore.

What a great car

  1967 coronet front fiberglass bumper
Posted by: Stage III - 06-14-15, 04:51 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (2)

A few years ago I contacted a guy from this site about 1967 coronet front fiberglass bumpers that he makes. If I remember the conversation right, he made a few of them and only had 1 or 2 left. I never bought one from him, now I would like to buy one, but cannot remember his name or any phone numbers. If anyone would know who this guy is or how to contact him it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  1967 Headlight Switch

How do I access the switch to change it? Do I need to pull the instrument panel? I can feel it going underneath but can't figure out how to get to the knob lever release button. Thanks. Steve

Grey caulk/seam sealer on roof rail bends?
Posted by: 67RTBlue - 06-12-15, 10:21 AM - Forum: Coronet Restoration/Paint Shop/Body Shop - Replies (3)

Working on those the last couple days cleaning them up and removing the old seals. On the side that has the thin foam gasket they is a grey caulk that the factory put at the sharp bends. Looks like it is to seal the voids in the channel itself. It is on the side that touches the roof. It was applied before the foam was glued to the rail. It also had a string impregnated in it as if to aid in pulling it off of a roll. Anyone ever seen this stuff? It's grey in color. I may use just the plain black 3M strip if all else fails.

Hello,

I got a little issue with my cruise control : doesn't seem to work ! Is there a special wiring diagram or is it included in the normal diagram, wich I found here on the page ?

Thanks for any help.

  1967 coronet fiberglass front bumper
Posted by: Stage III - 06-09-15, 07:43 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - No Replies

I'm looking for someone or company that makes a front fiberglass bumper for a 1967 coronet. It has to have blinker holes in it. The fiberglass bumpers that I have found are 1966 without the blinker holes. Thanks.
