  Quality seat covers
Posted by: Xpsyclonex2002 - 04-10-16, 01:01 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (4)

Hey guys. It's been an eternity since I have visited the site. I had to table the 66 coronet project for about 4 years. I'm ready to get started back this summer and I'm looking to buy an all new interior. Ironically I live about 5 miles down the road from legendary Interiors. I would like to use their products but there pretty much the most expensive. I know there are other people who are making seat covers and interior parts, like PUI. Do any of you guys have any experience with vendors besides legendary? How do they compare? Is the difference in quality worth the difference in price?

  1949 dodge coronet new guy
Posted by: wafo63 - 04-08-16, 05:33 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (9)

just bought a 1949 dodge coronet, haven't done much yet, but when I did drive it, I got to about 45pmh and it would start to sputter, so had it towed back to my shop, and had someone rebuild the carburetor, installed new plugs and wires, but now I can not go about 5 mph with out it missing and backfiring, going to try cap, rotor, points and condenser next, but wondering if anyone had any other suggestions

thanks

Is the firewall different on a factory power brake car?
Posted by: 67RTBlue - 04-07-16, 11:48 AM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (2)

I was told when inquiring at Mancini about a booster that the firewall was different. I am of the understanding the backing plate is different but not the firewall itself. I know this is true with a factory air car.

Is this a real A12 M code Super bee?
Posted by: Warhawkfight34 - 04-07-16, 09:16 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (9)

I came across this on ebay and was thinking on bidding on it. I came to the conclusion that it is a fake.
What do you guys think. The Vin tag, fender tag. and body numbers can be changed. I didn't see any torque box's,
It has the 440/500 side moldings and the bottom is painted black, It also has power brakes. real M codes never came with these. Let me know what you guys think, I trust in my fellow coronetaholics more than anyone.

Modern Hemi swap 66 Cornet 500
Posted by: Tom66-500 - 04-06-16, 05:11 PM - Forum: Modernize your Coronet - Replies (41)

I need ya'lls opinion. I am seriously thinking about either a 5.7 or 6.1 Hemi swap for my 66 500. My car is considered a survivor car and is stock even down to the original paint. I love the idea of having the dependability and power gain of the new technology but do I dare do this to an all original car? If I do decide to do this, I plan on keeping the 318 poly and maybe build it and throw it back in someday. Please, tell me what you all think!

This would be a nice one to do up? Haven't seen too many 2 doors.

$1300 Canadian dollars or $990 USD ...
