  WW1 White
Posted by: JimKueneman - 04-30-16, 10:08 PM - Forum: Coronet Restoration/Paint Shop/Body Shop - Replies (6)

Anyone have a WW1 White Coronet ('68 would be nice) with a photo? Trying to decide if I want to paint it original. Mine has been repainted once in its life about 30 years ago and was in storage. It seems more of a off-white/cream color now. Is WW1 truly a pure white?

Thanks
Jim

  Time for new tires!
Posted by: 67-500 - 04-29-16, 02:33 PM - Forum: The Muscle Car Years 1965-1970 - Replies (6)

My 67 will be in need of new tires this year, the redline bias plies have been on there for 20 years now and have started to split on the sidewalls. My question is this:what would have been original equipment, Goodyears or Firestones? Not really 100% sure that I'll put redlines back on or not, they look great but ride awful, may just go back to a white letter T/a radial.....

Thank you for letting me join in. I've been poking around and there is a lot of great information I can use!

I'm retired, age 56, and slowly turning into a raisin.

My car is a 1967 RT. I've had if for almost four years. It's mostly original, with all of the documentation from when it was purchased new, second repaint, with factory Air Conditioning, and Power Windows. (727)

Thanks again, and I look forward to learning, and if I can, helping.

Dave

PS: I might as well attempt my first edit and photo posting.

  Finished priming the trunk

I finished priming the trunk. Not bad for a rank amateur if I do say so myself. On to the spatter spray next (pix will be sent). And then of course just cover it all up with the new trunk mat I bought (but I'll know......).

I know y'all love pictures:

  2 questions
Posted by: OldSkool - 04-23-16, 04:40 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

Hello Fellow 'Neters,

Two questions:

  1. My battery did not survive the winter (had to jump her to get her home). Any batteries y'all like or as important, don't like?
  2. A guy gave me the Super 225 sticker in the picture below. What is the proper placement?

Thank you!
