My 67 will be in need of new tires this year, the redline bias plies have been on there for 20 years now and have started to split on the sidewalls. My question is this:what would have been original equipment, Goodyears or Firestones? Not really 100% sure that I'll put redlines back on or not, they look great but ride awful, may just go back to a white letter T/a radial.....

I'd recommend that you check out the Coker Tire website. They sell both the white letter B.F.G. Radial T/A tires that I've run on all of my muscle cars for years as well as the modern B. F. G. Redline radial tires which look similar to the original Redline tires but will give you a modern radial tire ride and handling option.

For Redlines I got DiamondBacks, they're in Conway SC.

Get a set of radial red lines, you'll never regret it.

X2 Rich.
Unless you have a 100 point show car, always go for better handling and safer radial tires every time. Bias-ply tires were lousy back in their day and even worse these days when we have MUCH better options.
