  Have a coolant problem
Posted by: Warhawkfight34 - 04-21-16, 08:07 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (11)

Long story and I'm going to make it short. I had a small crack in my water jacket and I listened to an old school guy. He told me to put bars leak in it and now this thing runs hot and spills out of the overflow tube. Will a radiator flush help? Do you think bars leak clogged the POS out of my engine?

Thanks,

Hello all my name is Nick Im almost 37 from the south hills of Pittsburgh I was born into mopars as my father was a Chrysler master tech and I grew up helping him and riding around in the car that I now own....I have had a few mopars before this a 69 Roadrunner and a 70 Coronet 440 model with a 318.

But now I have my pride and joy ...my family heirloom a 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T convertible ...1 of 14 made in the banana yellow ....my parents were the second owners and were friends with the original owner ....interesting things about the car is 1. the original owner was in the navy and the car is marked for export on the title. 2 Its a tri color car with body being 1 color (yellow) black interior and a white convertible top ....

But anyways enough rambling Ill be checking this place out and its nice to be here

  Pertronix hookup with ballast
Posted by: Avenger - 04-13-16, 12:59 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (8)

I see that the pertronix unit hooks up with a ballast by hooking up the negative to the negative on the coil and hooking the positive up to the ignition key on side of the ballast.. But how? The ballast has a blade connector on it and this is a ring terminal.. Or is there a better way of hooking it up that the directions do not specify?

Thank you in advance,
John
