Quality seat covers
#1
Hey guys. It's been an eternity since I have visited the site. I had to table the 66 coronet project for about 4 years. I'm ready to get started back this summer and I'm looking to buy an all new interior. Ironically I live about 5 miles down the road from legendary Interiors. I would like to use their products but there pretty much the most expensive. I know there are other people who are making seat covers and interior parts, like PUI. Do any of you guys have any experience with vendors besides legendary? How do they compare? Is the difference in quality worth the difference in price?

Hello Xpsyclonex2002,

Welcome back to the DCR. It's always nice to have another 66 owner on the website. Cool

Regarding your question about locating cheaper interior parts, there are many times where paying more for a name brand product doesn't really give you that much more quality for the dollars spent, but in the case of Legendary Auto Interiors products, they ARE the gold standard for interior products industry and you absolutely receive the quality products that you're paying for.

An interior restoration is a time consuming project and is also where you will be sitting while you're driving your car, so spend the money once, purchase the Legendary products and enjoy your Coronets new interior for many years to come.

By the way, I've personally done two complete interiors with Legendary products including a 1970 Charger R/T and my sons 1972 Dart Swinger and I also have a complete Legendary interior waiting to be installed into my 1966 Coronet 500, so I've been dealing with Legendary Auto Interiors and their staff for many years now and have never been disappointed with their product quality or their customer service, but as always these are just one persons opinions.

For some unknown reason, nobody seems to take me seriously............

I have a pair of bucket seats for a 66 that I'm pretty sure are in excellent shape that I don't need. I can take pics when I get a minute and see if you're interested if you'd like?
