  Where is everybody?

It seems like there were more First Generationers when the old site was up than are here now. What happened to everyone? Is it just that everyone is too busy, lack of interest or what? I belong to a few other Forums/Groups that at least get a post every day or so. Just thought I'd be the one to ask the question. I know this isn't the H.A.M.B. but come on. How about an icon?.....Banging Gears

  Voltage regulator update
Posted by: honcho - 03-24-13, 04:56 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - No Replies

Well thanks to Hibbing_Coronet_500 my problem has been solved. Look at my previous thread and you can see what problem I had. I am very stupid to electrical stuff, but even I could do this. Upgraded my VR to O'riellys part # R296P (be sure to order pigtial for it). Take off old VR,mount new one,run a wire from the other field of alternator, the one that has nothing hooked to it,to blue wires off old VR and blue wire from pigtail. Hook green wire from new VR to green wire that was hooked to old VR.Your done,no more voltage pulsing, quicker starts, your electronic ignition will love it. Thanks again Joe we have some smart folks on this website and I hope this helps somebody
