  383 camshaft selection
Posted by: BooBoo - 01-16-13, 04:55 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (1)

I recently got another 67 Coronet . It has a 383 in it with a automatic . I want to put alittle performance in it . I want to use a cam that will work with the stock valve train , stock torque converter and have a choppy idle . Anyone here have any first hand experience on a cam like this ? Also what do you think of the timing drive gears for the 383 Dodge motors ? Thanks . BooBoo

  No nubs for body trim
Posted by: BooBoo - 01-16-13, 04:46 PM - Forum: Coronet Restoration/Paint Shop/Body Shop - Replies (2)

I got a 67 . One side has body trim and the other side dont have any exept for the piece that goes around the front tire . The side without dont even have any of those little nubs that help hold the trim on . So how would you fix this ? Take the other side trim off , grind the nubs off and leave it like that ? Is there some kind of kit you can buy that would screw to the side of the car with the nubs on it ? What about the aftermarket trim sold at the local parts store with the adhesive backing . I,m not worried about the car being original , I just want it to look nice . What would you guys do . Thanks . BooBoo
