  Someone needs to buy this
Posted by: ws27 - 04-15-13, 11:44 PM - Forum: WIW eBay Craiglist Kijiji - Replies (5)

And not me please, someone buy it quick. It even has that third illusive pedal.

Not a bad asking price either:

Is a brass bushing and/or a hardened oil pump shaft needed when running a flat tappet cam

I forget if it should, or is that with the billet/rollers?...I was looking at my 440 and its looks like the stock stuff in there

(its running a .528 mech)

New member, Hamilton, New zealand, wanting to know what parts intercange from other models to fit a 1968 coronet 4dr?
Posted by: revitupglen - 04-14-13, 05:18 PM - Forum: New Members - Replies (17)

Hi there, my name's Glen, a new member from NZ, i have a 68 2dr Coronet deluxe which still has original paint, i am the third owner and purched the car from Spokane, Wasington, drove it to California and shipped it here to NZ(there's abit of a story behind the drive to California, 40 year old car, you can imagine).
Anyway, i've had a number of Amercan cars but have fallen for the Dodge and have since purched a 68 4r 440 from Massachusetts(bought off Ebay), came into NZ with a little more rust then we hoped but it is now stripped out and being repaired.
I have found it hard to source some replacement parts, window rubbers, door window felts etc, i have sourced info that apparentaly the 66-67 coronet 2dr hardtop front window rubber will fit the 68 4dr, if anyone could help will any other interchangable parts(like door rubbers etc), please let me know!!.

Thanks to all (will post pics soon), cheers, Glen.

Hi guys,

new to the site and have been looking for a dodge coronet on the internet for a while. this site seemed to be active and a good place to park my butt whilst i looked for a car to buy. i'm not in a hurry but was keen to buy in the next 12 mths and shipp back to the Australia - here is a picture of an aussis muscle car that i have been restoring and have just nearly finished.

https://www.google.com.au/search?q=GTR+x...20&bih=955

It's sort of like your muscle cars but a lot less of them over here.

so the brief is to start the looking and investigation stage and take the plunge when the right one comes around.

so if i pipe up and say something stupid then just excuse me .

regards grant

  Is it just me?
Posted by: ws27 - 04-12-13, 11:55 AM - Forum: Website How To's Help and Suggestions (not car related) - Replies (33)

OK, I know I lack big time in the brain department when it comes to computers, but the layout just changed for me here. Now each post has the ability to scroll up and down and left and right. Only problem for me is that most posts are now hidden and I have to manually scroll them down to read. PITA. I think I'm going to work on a carb or points or something I can relate to...
