Is a brass bushing and/or a hardened oil pump shaft needed when running a flat tappet cam

I forget if it should, or is that with the billet/rollers?...I was looking at my 440 and its looks like the stock stuff in there

I thought the hardened pump shaft was only if you are running a high volume oil pump. Does the flat tappet cam do something to the oil pump shaft?
