  Small coolant leak
Posted by: Avenger - 04-06-13, 07:37 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (2)

My 318 poly is leaking coolant slightly.. It seems to be coming out of the bell housing area.. Its a very small amount.. I didnt have any problems with it at all last year no leak. After we put it on higher jackstands to do the brake lines it leaked 3 tiny drips on the floor.. What would cause this.. I dont have the means to drop the 727 or anything

Wheel and tire fitment question for 17x9 wheels on a 65
Posted by: craig440 - 04-04-13, 12:41 PM - Forum: General Discussion - No Replies

Has anyone installed 17x9 wheels with a 5 inch backspace and 255/55-17 tires? I have been doing some measuring and it is close enough that I am nervous. I thought maybe someone has already tried or successfully done that. The rear suspension is all stock on my 65. My goal was to fill the wheel well as much as possible and use a relatively tall tire. I have seen 275/60-15 tires squeeked in, but wouild like to try the Rev100 anthracite wheels in a 17 inch.

Any feedback appreciated.
