i'll still spank it's ass
It only took a year to get it back to the track (MATS) - made 2 1/8th mile shakedown passes to make sure everything was right. Third pass I went for it - 9.98@ 132, 1.39 60ft. I was very gratified to say the least. It went a best of 9.94 @ 133 with a 1.37 60ft and that was on 7 year old worn out slicks! It was a good weekend, did a little tuning (carb jetting) and had to do a front end alignment at the track! I won first round in my class then it got rained delayed so we packed it in and went home. The car will probably go 9.70's at sea level - not too shabby for a 3650lb car on 9 inch slicks.

Damn... that car kicks ass and chews bubble gum..

It's not the motor... it's all those go-fast decals on the windows that's doin it Smile
When is somebody going to notice my curb feelers?
That's awesome! Okay, why the curb feelers?
One of my friends was one of the announcers at the MATS this year.
Joe has too many friends..

Curb feeler to trick the lights into thinking it's a tire breaking the first beam?
The car has had curb feelers on it since the day I bought it in 1989. Don't want to bash up my wheels man! I've never seen another drag car with them.
I figured you needed em to keep off the guardrails..
