Tail Light Bulb Holder
#11
The longer one is for the tail light, and goes in from the back of the housing. The shorter on is for the back up light, and goes in from the bottom of the housing. Here is a pic from my 68 RT showing the two holders.

Hi Mike

Thanks for the pic. Could you measure the length of the tail light one please?

The overall length without bulb is 54mm. The 2 measurements I think you are most interested in are the length from the flange in the middle to the end of the top of the holder, and the flange to the top of the bulb. The flange I am referring to is the round protrusion that acts as a stop against the tail light housing. Looking at the pic, the flange is 22mm from the back end of the holder (the end with the wires coming out). From the flange to the top of the holder is 30mm. From the flange to the top of the bulb is 63mm. If you need any more clarification, just ask.

Thanks Mike. That info and pic were great. I have one holder that is correct and one that's not. Any idea where I could get another holder that is correct? Thanks

Going to the Mopar only swap meet sunday. I'll keep an eye out for one. If not I may be able to find one in Kentucky, but I won't be visiting there for a few months.

Is that the one in Chicago, Mike?

Thanks Mike, that would be great. All the vendors sell them only as part of the complete wiring harness.

I've got a mate looking for 2 bucket seats with tracks for a 68 Coronet. Anyone have any?

Sorry, mate, didn't see any. It was the WPC meet in Detroit, Racer Brown. If you are still looking when I go to Kentucky, I will see if I can come up with one. In the meantime, at least your brake lights still function.
