  Installing cat whiskers
Posted by: JennFAFA - 01-07-13, 01:48 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (9)

Want to install the cat whiskers on the 65 and I figured i would ask before I started getting into it.
I am not sure what goes where and how they are attached to the door. I do know that the ones that are on there now are completley disintegrated, so they are of no help. I dont think I need to take the door panels off but then again ...i dont know! LOL

Anyway - if any one has pointers, insight and maybe a pic to post of their 65 , I would be very so grateful.

Someone has to start this section over again, so here is a pic of my '49. This was from '09 right after I got it and put new suspension under it. 2.5" rear and 3" front. The car doesn't look like much but she runs well.

I'm glad to see the forum is back, even though I lurk way more than I post, I still look in here almost daily. I'm Dave, and I have a '49 Dodge and most of the time I have no idea what you guys with the muscle cars are talking about, but I like to see your videos and pics and stuff.

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the site! So excited with the new forum and patiently awaiting for spring and Carlisle soon after!

Been working on the car and got a lot done:

New floors, carpet, 'Coronet' script rungs, gas tank, gas lines, sender unit, package tray just to name a few little things. Still have a few more little things to do for the spring. Plan is to get new upholstry by Carlisle time!! Yea baby!! Smile

Having such a great time doing things to the car and getting him back in shape.

OH OH OH!!! Today the back seat was pulled out to install the package tray and guess what was there?? The build sheet!! In PERFECT condition!!
I was SOOOOO excited.....it is truely frame Worthy!!

Anyway - excited to be back. Starting out to be a GOOD year!!!

  Picked up another Mopar
Posted by: Piper - 01-06-13, 07:09 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (21)

Got this '68 Charger from my friend Nick (Mopedope) Something to tinker on while I am in between doing work on the Coronet. Its a 318/727 (shes tired) I have a 440 almost ready to drop in, she needs some body work but AMD makes just about every piece of steel for her

I have since dropped the rear end back down (someone had put helpers on her)
