  VINYL ROOF ADHESIVE
Posted by: harold prentice - 05-22-13, 08:25 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (3)

Hi all,

There are a couple of spots on my like new vinyl roof, just above the drip rail, where the adhesive seems to have failed. The vinyl's in great shape - soft & flexible. Does anyone know what kind of adhesive is used to secure the vinyl? I may take a crack at it myself by removing the chrome trim and getting adhesive in that way but if it looks too "iffy" I think I'll consult an upholstery shop. The car is a '66 Coronet 500 H/T.

Thanks in advance!

Harold P

can't find window washer pump wire on 1967 coronet 440
Posted by: boydsdodge - 05-22-13, 12:00 PM - Forum: Tech Q&A - Replies (9)

Hi all, replaced the missing washer bottle and pump on my wagon, and cant find the pump wire.
from what it shows in my service manual i have it coming out of the firewall harness but nothing from wiring harness where I would think.
So before I go unwrapping my harness (what I don't want to do) I am hopping I can get someone to narrow down my search area to where it should be coming out of harness to pump.
It's all original and very unmolested under the hood except for this pump wire, I'd love to not start digging blindly into harness unless needs be.
Thanks
