Painted the black tonight. Advanced Plating did the chrome. I puddled em in with semi-gloss and let that dry. I then took some thinner on a piece of paper towel and gently wiped the face to clean my sloppy brush from the top edges. Doing that leaves nice crisp edges!

That looks nice. I'm waiting for a guy to finish stencils. The factory sprayed them, and I'd like to try to keep them as close to factory as possible.
We'll see, maybe if he fails, I'll do the same.

After a little more research it appears that my car has the wrong letters on the hood. The hood was replaced after my uncle John wrecked the car, that could explain it.
You probably have a 67 hood on it. Look at the second "D" If there are only two holes, you have a 67 hood, if someone drilled new holes, you have a 66 hood.
