No Jeff, sorry, they are different. Pin location and style totally different.
Darn, I've got money burnin' a hole in my pocket too.
You can find 66 letters still, not easy, but they are out there. 67 is non-existent.
PM me your address Jeff. The letters I picked up at Fling are for 66.

I've owned both 1966 and 1967 Coronets, so it's probably just me that thinks of things like this, but aren't the 1967 hood and trunk letters so much cooler looking than the 1966 hood and trunk letters? This is one change between the two model years that I believe Chrysler made a good choice to change.
Richard
They are distinctly different Richard. And for some reason the engineers decided they didn't want you to interchange between years, so they changed the pin locations.
I'll be picking up the letters after being painted and will post some close ups.
I hope they look good...
OK, here are some close ups. The black paint was done by hand and is not perfect. I will be spraying the next batch.
I have another problem, the pins are not the correct diameter. I think the chrome was applied too thick. I need to figure out if I can either ream them, or maybe thread them. Three days to figure it out!!!
The ones above and below are originals. Three of the hood letters I'm holding are NOS, the ones with paint.
Might take a while but can you dremel them down?
They look very nice Rich
Awesome! As soon as you are ready count me in for a set front and rear!
