Rich,

The fronts look identical to a '66, are the rears the same also? Id love a set for myself.

Agreed Rich and anyone who believes differently can speak with the folks at Laysons Restoration Parts about Chrysler's position on protecting their copyrights.machinegunekelly

As far as the hood letters go Rich, I'm assuming that your reproduction letters will not have the Chrysler Pentastar or part numbers cast on them correct? Otherwise you will have to pay the Chrysler licensing fee.

It's very cool that you're taking this project on my friend and I wish you the very best!

Jeff, 66 letters are not the same in looks, but also the two "D" s are the same in 66, but not in 67, go figure. Pin location is different.

If this turns out good enough, I'll make sure there will be enough for everyone.

I thing the rears are the same or at least close to 69 rears. Pin location may be different too.

Like I said, this will be a big learning curve!

Richard, you are 100% correct. I am merely making 10 individual letters that have the same shape and font as the ones some of us need and if you happen to put them in the right order, they spell one awesome vehicle. That's why I can't repro the R/T emblem without Chryslers permission . But if this goes well, I might consider it.

I have other ideas if this goes well.
I think you're my new best friend! Smile

I know that you're considering reproducing the 1966 and 1967 plastic defroster vent nozzles right my friend? Wink

Or someone coming to Phoenix to get the measurements they need to make them! Rofl

I can just see Rich being led off in handcuffs at Carlisle cause the Carlisle police detected homemade emblems on his car Smile
