We have our old ET Mags that I want to put BFG Redline Radials on for main cruising duty. These wheels were on the car when we bought it and my Dad put on some new radials when he bought the car which I don't remember them rubbing in the back. Wheel is a 15x6 and had a 225/75R15 tire on it. Worried about rubbing and if I should drop down to a 215? The redline BFG's only come in 70 series instead of 75's that were on there. Front wheels are 14 x 6 with 215/75R14. I like the idea of having a little bit wider tire on the rear but not if its going to rub.
Thoughts???

Unless you have a crazy offset there's no way they will rub. I have 255 on mine and they fit pretty good (only lightly rub on a sharp turn on one side.

275/60-15 on a 15x7 with 4.25 or 4 3/8 back space. Maybe same tire on a 15x8 with 5" back space. I know the first fits, both mine have them.

My 275/60-15 15x7 rubs slightly with a rear sway have 4.25 BS but really need a 5" BS. Just remember you can always push a tire out
