Brake line question-passenger side line hump or no hump?
#1
What is the deal with the two designs? This is the hard line that mounts to the firewall. I've seen both versions. Is it an option specific thing or supplier variation?

On a AC car, there is a stud/nut that goes thru the firewall for mounting the evaporator/heater core assembly. To clear this stud/nut, they raise the brake line up and over. On a non-AC car, the line just goes straight across.

I couldn't get a clear picture of it on a buddies car tonite, but could see clear as day where the nut/stud is and the line being routed up and around.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.
