Check out the dome on top of the ball joint, the old one is flat. I dont think I've ever seen that before. They are identical except for that, my question is . . . do you think I will have intererence issues with the tire or rim?
With 14" spare that clears the 10.95" rotors
If you ever wonder where a 14" rim will hit on a 11.75 rotor setup and Wilwoods, here ya go.

Did you know up until about 10yrs ago the upper ball joint used in almost every oval track car from a Modified all the way to top tier Winston/Nextel/whoever now Cup was a B-body screw in? I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the Monte Carlo we got from Darrell Waltrip in mid 90's, then 10yrs later on another car we got when we went Busch North
These are TRW ball joints.

More cleaning - dust shields, I was surprised to see they were galvanized. Not a spec of rust on them after 52 years, they were very dirty though. You can also see it the pic that they have that wrecking yard yellow paint pen writing on them . . . apparently these came off a '73 Satellite. My dad converted this car to disc brakes sometime between 1976 & 1980 -
I believe he may have been one of the very first people to do this. At that time he had easy access to the parts because he managed a wrecking yard. It was called Thomas Auto Wreckers, located in Duarte Calfornia. Any of you SoCal guys know the place? No doubt he got the set up off a wrecked car from the yard.

That would have been sweet job working at a wrecking yard back then, all the cool stuff you see.
On the weekends that was usually our first priority was to hit up some yards, mostly in Colorado where we lived. Mopar stuff everywhere.

I remember going there in the Summers when I was a kid. So much fun exploring yard, I learned so much about cars hanging out there.

I did same in 03, got lucky and found a Dart going thru wrecking yard first time. They were beat up and oxidized like aluminum, but no rust. worked good for almost 20+yrs. Now you can't do it here anymore, have to go across to PA to scrounge around.
I like that weld in shock mount sway bar bracket, mine is just bolt on but hasn't moved even though I thrash it at times. The rear I had to weld to axle tube on right side cause it only contacts a small amount and kept rotating.
