I am taking them.. I didn't throw the brake rotor across the garage when the bearing race didn't fit like I normally would!!

Mike,
That was the method previously used to remove them. I have done it that was before but this time I wanted to use a little less brutality. It always creates more work.

I need some opinions here, I bought these ball joints a while ago and just now got around to comparing them to the old ones. Check out the dome on top of the ball joint, the old one is flat. I dont think I've ever seen that before. They are identical except for that, my question is . . . do you think I will have intererence issues with the tire or rim?

Gonna depend on rim size, tire size and backspacing.. this is a 255/60/15 on a 15X7 rim with 4 1/2' BS. Suspension is compressed but even with that big tire on front looks like it should fit.

My brain would say red flag flying those ball joints are universal.
I would not use them.
I bought some Moog ones on sale recently if you need them. I just bought for back up.

I remember pulling those type ball joints when I worked at Kanters.. Forgot who made them, they weren't the cheap Indian made knock offs (China was too pricey for them back then).
Did you know up until about 10yrs ago the upper ball joint used in almost every oval track car from a Modified all the way to top tier Winston/Nextel/whoever now Cup was a B-body screw in? I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the Monte Carlo we got from Darrell Waltrip in mid 90's, then 10yrs later on another car we got when we went Busch North
