thanks for the tips guys.booboo to answer your question i am going to make sure my whole set up is tuned well before i go into the rear gears.i'm a little new to really looking into the whole set up on a car.the motor and trans had 450 miles on rebuild when i got the car and what i have been able to find out about the motor is pretty basic.30 over flat top pistons comp cam 280h grind.comp springs.hp exhaust manifolds,600 cfm holley.727 2000 stall.only things i have done is put a eddy performer intake on and a 750 vs carb.upgraded plug wires and a few elec things.trans wont downshift so i'm getting that taken care of then i will have the timing and carb tune looked at before i move into any gear work on the rear.do you guys see any glaring probs so far?motor runs well i just want a little more umph thanks again, david
