Wiring for adding power/heated seats?
#11
Well it seems like modern seats in old rides is a somewhat common upgrade, a little less so with power adjustment (people seem to choose BMW seats a lot), and virtually no modifications using the seat heaters. I believe I'm going to get the seats mounted (so only deal with welding of brackets) for now. Then I will upgrade the voltage regulator to a 70s electronic style along with a 65amp or higher Alternator while bypassing the problematic factory ammeter in the dash. From there I will run power directly to the seats and use a relay to at least have the power adjustment. It seems the heat level is regulated by the ECU so getting the warmers to work like original will never happen. I paid 250 for both seats so it's not a big deal.

Thanks for the input... And does anyone have any suggestions for other forums I could join to get more Mopar or b-body info.?
