harold prentice Wrote:Richard, it must be serendipity or karma or something because I had a friend tell me he was throwing out a bunch of shop manuals about three years ago. Since I never met a shop manual I didn't like I said sure. Turns out the one he gave me was for 65/66 Dodge/Chrysler/Valiant. At the time, I had no clue I'd end up with the 500. What are the odds? The manual has proven invaluable several times already. In the next while, I'll be referring to it when I pull the intake to re-gasket/re-seal it - it's weeping a bit at the rear on the passenger side.
Thanks again!

Music to my ears my friend! I am not
I'm painfully aware that some here on the DCR roll their eyes when I start talking about how extremely helpful it is to have the correct Factory Service Manual when they work on their cars and how equally important it is for them to study the appropriate Factory Parts Book so that they can understand how their car was built, but that's ok, because I'm never going to give up on my mission to have every DCR member add these two manuals to their literary "tool boxes"!
