First off how difficult is it to change the turn signal switch?? I know the wheel has to come off but what is involved other than that? I need to change mine sometime because sometimes if the signal is off and the stalk isn't in exactly the right place one or the other brake light doesn't work.. also where is the best and most price conscious place to get one because I know they are semi pricy..
Thank you in advance!

It's been a while but if memory serves me it's not to bad. Once the wheel is off 3 Philips screws remove the plate that holds the switch in place. To get the wires out I think you have to remove the key switch. If so there is a small hole in the top of the switch. With the key in the off/locked position Use a wire or paper clip in the hole to depress the locking pin.
Take pictures, it makes reassembly easier.

To pull the switch assembly out you need to pull the pins out of the connector - otherwise you cant pull it out. You need a small screwdriver to bend the tabs out of the way in the connector - make sure you clearly mark the wires to know how to put it back in. To reinstall bend the tabs back and just push in.
You also want to pull the cover that is over the wiring - held in by one or more philips screws.

Believe it or not, Rockauto has them. I just ordered one today. They actually have quite a few replacement parts at good prices. Good luck!

I am having a hell of a time finding a good quality switch for a 69 Charger I am working on. Replacement ones fit in place but do not cancel. Different shape.
