Trans leaking like a sieve after parked-couple other leaks.

Seems like it should hold each gear a little longer. It rolls through all 3 by the time I hit 20 under light throttle! Would shortening the rod a little extend the wind-out in each gear?

Longer , you need lever on trans. to pull back little more. Just make sure you have full throttle and not bottoming out lever after done.

The tranny literally hits 2nd by 10mph even under medium throttle. What's the deal there?
I tried shortening the rod by 3 turns and it really didn't do anything. I then turned it back to the "book" setting and went one more turn which would be slightly longer. When I apply full throttle the lever on the trans is also reaching maximum rearward movement. I would like to get the gears to "stretch out" a little more before going into the next gear.
