Im just full of questions today lol..a lot of the time my left rear brake light wont come on..but if i turn the turn signal on first and shut it off then brake it will work..what causes this?

That's weird that you noticed it working and not working and the turn signal was involved? I'd say? Your turn signal cam is gummed up or possibly open? Pull the steering wheel. Inspect, clean, lubricate, test! Possibly replace the turn signal cam?

The brake lights go through the turn signal switch, so Hibbings guess is right on. Good call.
