Help: I want to put sound deadner in the dorrs 66 cornet convert,, how difficult to remove/reinstall inside door handles?? I have a 66 Dodge shop manual..has a every screw and nut in this car, but does not show this step... page 23 -13 ...so if anyone has done this , please give me clue>>>LOU

so the door panel will come opff first?? then I wont even have to remove it,,I can work around it thanks...LOU

No sorry I did not explain very well there is a bolt holding the handle on, pull out on it and you should be able to see it. And this is before panel comes off.

thanks...........our manual and I have a real one oldie with grease marks and all, does not cove rthis, but it covers everything else....guess I muse to the Mercs and Fords with a simple clip........Just don't want to unbolt someting, hear a bunch of parts falling in the door going clank, and saying what the hell was that,,??? yeah I saw that bolt last nite thats why I m asking... THANKYOU>>>
