I bought a coolant recovery system and my new wiper seals came in too. Good Friday will be a good Friday!

Red lit in the second round (and went too quick) Car was awesome, driver not so - best ET of the weekend was 10.67, best 60ft was 1.49 and that was on old hard tires too.

These are tricky to paint even when you have the right colors, which I am still trying to figure out. the original is on the left, what I thought was gold paint is more of a metallic foil. tricky to recreate. the right was painted with metallic gold paint pen. It looks bronzeish. I had the same results from a spraycan metallic gold.
I am looking for a good gold chrome paint now. Hopefully that will match up better with the originals.

I see the difference but looks nice. Have you tried Dupli-color Metalcast ? It is suppose to be like anodize.

Stamm, that looks great even still. I've been told by more than one person that the gold was real. Personally, I don't believe it, but I thought I'd mention it since you said it was kind of like foil. Did any of it come off intact? If so, maybe you can have it tested for S&G's. Just a thought.

To be completley honest.. I'd love to have it..

But it's missing one very important piece that I want in a car...
