!967 Coronet 440 Windshield Wiper Motor
#1
I have a 1967 Coronet 440 that I restored.  I put a Ron Francis wiring harness in the car.  Everything in the car works except for the windsheld wiper motor.  When I turn the wiper switch on, the wiper blades try to move down.  I've tried to find the wiring diagram for the wiper motor on the internet with no success.  I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me either point me in the right direction to a wiring diagram or a aftermarket fix so that would solve this problem.

Welcome to the site! Not many of us here, and many of us are 66-7 owner, and they are pretty smart. The wiper motor is a very simple motor, it turns in one direction, and has limit switches to where to stop when turned off. The only thing I can think of that would make it run backwards are a miswiring at the switch, the bulkhead connector (if the RF kit has one) or the motor itself. I'll dig out some pictures tomorrow of motors in various states and see if I am missing something.

I'd recommend a factory wiring harness from Classiccarwiring.com, but it wouldn't work in your situation.

And pictures, we love pictures..
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

Greatly appreciated.  I have the three original wires on the firewall.  I think it might be I have the wires backwards.  I need to know the three prongs on the motor.

These are OEM colors, so anything under dash may be different or on the motor may be off due to age.  On the motor on the outside, you have 2 connectors, these are what park the blades down when you turn it off.  Green goes to pin D,top left on the on the top factory bulkhead connector, and continues green to the switch, which connects to the 2 bladed connector you see here.  The other outside one is brownish and connects to pin A on the opposite side of the connector.  That connects to pin A on the 4 wire connector on the switch.

The 2 wires inside are blue and red. Red connects to pin C on the bulkhead connector next to green, and connects to the other pin of the 2 wire connector with the green one.  The blue one goes to pin B on the bulkhead connector next to A and connects to pin B on the 4 blade connector.  The other wires on the switch are for the dash lights and power to the switch.
