She’s really disappointed, said she wanted a patriotic car collection, just needed a red and blue one to make it complete.

You guys get so distracted..........
AFAIK The greens are a deep groove ball bearing versus AFAIK a tapered roller bearing in a stock setup. Huge difference on side load. A deep groove ball bearing won't take a lot of abuse on the street. It will take some side thrust loading but nothing like a tapered roller bearing.

Jeff, I'd love to let you in on this.. but spanking both grandpa and grandma is just a wee bit kinky. even for me...
Thanks Mark.. this is first time I've really pushed it in the curves, I was thinking same thing, the shuddering is coming from the ball bearing rubbing against the side of the race. Adding new tires meant it was sticking harder, hence the increase in shuddering. (and isn't thread hijacking the new Olympic sport?)

Not sure if I answered what theoutcome was, I'm pretty much beyond letal limits to drive or walk..
anhyoo.. putting tapered in fixed 2 problems.. vibrations in the twisties and one I've been chasing for almost 20yrs... vibration at 55-65mph.. new springs, new U joints, new driveshaft, new axles/bearings hell, all new drivetrain. nothing fixed it. Now it's gone.. Only thing I can think of is I think the houseing might be tweaked, and the greens are so friggin touchy about it, they made the car shake. But, don't matter, it works fine now...
Moral of story... go with whateever version works for you and you feel comfy with..
now, get me another glass

Ive ran greens in mine since 2013. Had tapered when i bought it, and was MISSING the adjuster. SO of course it ruined the right bearing. I had no idea having bought it in 2012. They've been flawless since install.
